Founded in 2004 by Andrew Merrill, V4′s goals are to provide elegant, easy to use, cost effective software solutions by a friendly but professional team of software engineers and UX designers.

We’ve built software for businesses ranging from sole traders and one-man bands through to nationally recognised companies including AXA insurance, Mothercare & Alpro-Soya.

We also provide mobile software development services, building apps for iPhones and Android smartphones and can take your app idea and develop both it and the services that may power it for you.

A lot of our work involves the integration of other services, such as Facebook, Twitter, a payment provider or an SMS service like TXTLocal, so if your business relies on data or services from elsewhere on the web we can help there too!

Whilst we’re naturally die-hard geeks, we also know that you might not be as interested in the technology behind a great website as we are! But don’t worry, you really don’t need to be, we won’t baffle you with how the software’s built – we’ll just explain what it does and how it’s going to do what you want.
