About the Project

The Notaries Society is the representative society for the 900 or so Notaries Public, practising in England and Wales.

V4 Technical built their previous website in 2009 and were invited to provide a proposal for a new site which would take into account the changes in technology, search optimisation and the society itself, that had taken place in the subsequent five years.

We had already identified that one key requirement was to improve the results and management of the “Find A Notary” feature, as analytics data indicated that this was the most popular feature of the site. We also wanted to update the site to a responsive format to take into account the increasing usage of tablets and smartphones.

The Result

Working with the Notary Society committee we developed a site map, designs and feature set, which met the needs of all of the members. This included:

Responsive design
“Find A Notary” search engine
Content management improvements
Automated member notifications of new content
Search engine optimised pages and structure

We delivered the project on brief, on time and on budget. We continue to work with the society providing support and advice.
